Antique Hand Carved Chinese Soapstone Vase

with Monkey and Bird

This lovely two-toned soapstone vase has a very detailed monkey with stars on his bottom and shoulder.

It also has a detailed bird reaching up for food.

We bought this from an antique estate sale and the tag stated it was 19^th century but we have no way to know for sure.

It is in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks or chips.
