BEAUTIFUL IMARI WARE JAPAN 6 ¼” COLLECTIBLE DECORATIVE PLATE

 

Decorative Collector Plate by Japan Imari Ware, featuring a scene of a Japanese House and Birds, set against a wooded setting.

The bold colors of cobalt blue, deep red and yellow,

make this a very striking piece.

The cobalt blue glaze has gold detailing added over the blue.

The design consists of the house and trees in a center circle, which is then surrounded by three large red, yellow + black feathered birds. Decorative cobalt blue and deep red rust wavy shapes,
each of which is highlighted with gold curlicues, separate the birds.

Excellent condition with no chips scratches or cracks.

It measures app. 6 ¼” diameter.

It is back stamped with Imari Ware Japan.
